The Prophecy Project:
Session 34
WELCOME… To session number thirty-four of the prophecy project. In this session I want to do a prophecy update, to use recent events on the world scene to show developments towards God’s coming kingdom.
Before I start, I want to speak to those who have taken the time to view my prophecy videos and to read my books, that I appreciate your comments and encouragement and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future, I do read and consider your comments.
Also, I want to encourage the Assyrians who view the Asshur videos to watch all the sessions before forming your final opinion, I am just reporting what I believe God is revealing to us through his word, I speak about all the nations in prophecy -America, Israel, England, Russia, etc.- regardless of how difficult the message might be…. as it is… the Assyrian nation will have wonderful part in God’s millennial kingdom and I , for one, am looking forward to seeing the prosperity of the Assyrian people in their land once again.
I also want to take a moment to let my viewers understand that I don’t believe that the King James bible is somehow inferior to other translations. I do read and refer back to the Greek and Hebrew texts to verify context and meaning, and I have a lot of respect for the scholars and methods which produced the King James. The work was an exhaustive and through effort taking years to accomplish, using all the scholarly resources the kingdom had available at the time. I have researched some of the differences of different translations and found the King James to be accurate. This applies to places like Micah chapter 5 where there is a question of “when” or “if” the Assyrian comes into Israel in the last days. I will continue use the King James as my reference text.
Now Let’s move on.
In my book “Asshur the Assyrian” I explain that the ethnic background or linage of the man called Antichrist is Assyrian, The Assyrians are the ancient peoples of modern Iraq. I’m not the only teacher of prophecy who see and teach the same thing. This is all covered in my prophecy project sessions 11-19. But I also speak about the “New Assyria” the nation state which he (the Assyrian) will help to establish in the last days. This is something which I haven’t heard from other teachers. It’s hard to imagine how this could actually happen in the Islamic Iraq of today. But I am convinced that it will, or more accurately, it has already happened… but is not totally manifest yet.
Isaiah 23:13 speaks to this subject, it is as follows:
“Behold the land of the Chaldeans: This people was not, till the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness. They set up the towers thereof and they raised the palaces thereof. And he brought it to ruin.”
Isaiah 23 is a prophetic chapter which is speaking into the end times concerning the cities of Tyre and Sidon, and the coast line, with events which have not yet happened, they are future events. But within the prophecy we find verse 13. And the Chaldeans that are mentioned in verse 13 are living in the end time, and are not the original Chaldeans which would have predated the time of the prophecy.
In our time, right now, the original people of the land call themselves by several different names, not just Chaldean, but also Syriac and Assyrian. They speak the same language and are the same ethnic people. While many live in their original homeland, the majority of them are dispersed around the world. THEY LOST THEIR NATIONAL IDENTITY AT THE END OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR. They are in the wilderness.
The circumstances revealed in verse 13 have never existed in history. The establishing of the Chaldean/Assyrian nation by the man called “The Assyrian” is a future event! and I expect to see it manifest very soon.
The ancient land of Assyria is in the current nation of Iraq. Specifically northern Iraq. The question is: does the nation of Iraq have to go away in order to have Assyria? I don’t believe so. The Iraqi government is set up to allow for autonomous provinces within the nation. This has already happened. The Kurdistan Province is an example of this. The Kurds operate nearly independent of the government in Bagdad. The Kurds are actually occupying some of the land of the ancient Assyrians. In my book “Asshur the Assyrian” I state that there will be an Assyrian province established in the Nineveh plains of northern Iraq. It is actually a bullet point on the back of the book.
The following news article was placed in the Assyrian international news agency, (the Aina) on January 26th 2014. While I try to follow everything that happens with the Assyrians I did not see this article until march of 2015. I had seen two other articles on this subject that referenced or alluded to the this article in August of 2014. But now this article, this article is very insightful and clearly explains what has happened.
I want to read a major portion of the article for you now.
“We congratulate the government of Iraq for this historic and ground breaking decision that recognizes the rights of three distinct groups of citizens, particularly the indigenous Assyrians (also known as Chaldeans and Syriacs), who are the inhabitants of Iraq from the time immemorial.
Assyrians have been pursuing their legal rights as the rightful owners of their ancestral lands for a very long time. The Assyrian Universal Alliance (AUA) has been calling for the establishment of a geographically viable, demarcated region as an Assyrian province in the historical Assyrian lands in Northern Iraq as part of the modern day Federal Republic of Iraq.
We wholeheartedly thank every organization and individual who has contributed to this historic achievement. Our most heartfelt appreciation goes to prime minister Nouri al-Maliki who had publicly promised the AUA representatives in Australia in March 2009 that the government of Iraq would redress the tragedies suffered by Iraqi ethnic populations. We extend our gratitude to the Assyrian members of the Iraqi Parliament and members of the Cabinets for their efforts and congratulate them for this achievement. We also appreciate the efforts and support of all friendly governments and international organizations that helped pave the way for this decision. We most humbly thank and congratulate all thirteen political organizations that accepted AUA’s invitation and convened in the City of Erbil in the fall of 2010 and with one voice demanded the establishment of a province for our people in Iraq’s Nineveh Plain.”
Wow, what a tremendous step forward! “It was voted on and approved” Something that seemed impossible just a few years ago has come to pass. while it is just a single step forward and only one of many which must happen, it has set in motion and given renewed emphasis to the revived Assyrian nation.
I stated in my book and in my videos that the Moslems will never allow this nation to exist without a fight. This is precisely what has happened. Shortly after the vote to create the new province took place “ISIL” the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant, (who was fighting in Syria against the Syrian government) turned itself and attacked into Northern Iraq, specifically the city of Mosul (which is Nineveh). The largest city of ethnic Assyrians in the Nineveh plains, and has occupied the city and the general area until this day. Their main focus has been the removal of all the Christians from the middle east. I need not cite all the atrocities which ISIL has committed during this time.
Also, al-Maliki was politically attacked and eventually replaced. This appears to be the price he paid for supporting the Assyrians. The province has been placed on the back burner till ISIL can be driven out of Iraq. Which is a process happening right now. ISIL has offended a large number of the nations of the world and the nations are assembling forces and alliances to defeat ISIL. Even the Assyrians of northern Iraq have formed militias to defend themselves and drive out ISIL. What you see on the monitor behind me is an article showing that 4000 Assyrian men are being trained for this purpose. You need to understand that they will need an army to defend Assyria as soon as it is in place. It’s fair to assume that the Assyrian government is being formed right now as well, although not publically.
In my books I clearly state my belief that the Leopard of Daniel chapter 7 is an Islamic Caliphate rising in the Middle East. The symbolism is that of a Persian leopard, however the leopard is more complicated than just Iran. the leopard has four heads. when we look at the Islamic caliphate currently developing right now, we find that there are actually four different Islamic groups vying for control. they are the “Moslem Brotherhood” “ISIL” “Iran” and “Turkey”. Yes Turkey, They desire to reestablish the Ottoman Empire (Ottoman caliphate), they have been more subtle than the other heads, this is because Turkey is part of NATO and must be careful.
I believe the wings on the back of the Leopard represent the desire of the caliphate to move beyond the middle east and establish Sharia law throughout the world.
ISIS is quickly becoming a global problem and will require significant changes from the nations to confront and destroy its dominance in the middle east.
Daniel tells us that the leopard’s dominance is short lived because an alliance of ten commanders (generals) forms, and becomes the strongest military alliance in the world., and totally defeats the leopard. We also know from other locations in scripture, that Israel will be attacked and will attack other nations in that area. Syria, Iran, and Jordan will be involved. In my book Daniel and the NATO connection I identify this alliance as an offshoot of NATO.
I know people think I’m crazy, but recently at a NATO summit the Obama administration indicated that it thought that NATO should indeed take on the responsibility of defeating ISIS. To their surprise they found that NATO agreed and was already working on a special alliance and military force to do just that. They need a fast response….extremely powerful….military force which can go anywhere on a moment’s notice…insert themselves and establish their control. This is all meant to minimize civilian casualties. The Obama administration was working on a 10 nation group which was made up of nearly all European nations. But NATO believes that only a group representing both Moslem nations and European nations will be acceptable. The NATO view is most closely like that which we find in Daniel. Five toes from one leg and five from the other. We see this as the eastern Roman Empire and the western Roman Empire, an alliance that is partially clay and partially Iron, mix peoples which makes for a weekness.
This development is difficult to follow because NATO is very discreet in its planning and negotiations., but you can sometimes get information from the NATO web site if you want to follow their activities.
