Session 23
WELCOME… To session number twenty-three of the prophecy project. This is the last session of this series. In the last session I went through NATO and its transformation from the defensive alliance of the past, to the offensive alliance which now exists. I showed how NATO has expanded, and continues to expand beyond Europe into Asia and Africa, even to include a partnership with Russia (the bear). The map of NATO influence is almost precisely the same as the old Roman Empire, but there are more changes yet to happen, Libya, Syria and Iraq.
Moving on now, The question has to be asked, how does NATO match the ten horns or ten toes? The new stance or position of NATO is to be a stabilizing force and stop local war lords and such in taking over after large nations fall apart. The NATO actions in Libya were a good example, the desire was to prevent the central government from attacking its own people. But two problem arose. One, the Arab and Moslem nations did not want command decisions being made by what they called the crusader nations of Europe, so it was proposed that group of leaders from both western and eastern nations would be convened to share the decision making and insure cooperation and equal representation. This actually happened and was called the Libyan contact group, it started with 4 western leaders and 4 eastern. The group soon expanded into an international group of nations, everyone wanted to be a part. The larger it got the less effective it became, but the model did operate after a sort. I believe that an adaptation of this model will be put in place for future military operations in the middle east.
The second problem that became apparent was that the existing NATO command system is too large and cumbersome to respond in a timely manner. The loss of life in a volatile event requires fast responses not slow moving assemblies of policy makers. The mechanisms for responding to events must be established before it happens and application of those policies left in the hand of trusted military leaders who know best how to establish stability in an area and stop the loss of life. These military leaders must have an equal representation from both the west and middle east. Because of the inherent mistrust of the two areas a non military central leader will have to be chosen to oversee and direct the command group. Non military because it is imperative that the group have direct civilian oversight. This leader will need to be someone that is acceptable to both sides, Europeans and Moslems, someone they both feel they can trust. While the process for this command system may go through many phases and iterations I think it will eventually arrive at ten commanders with one person for direct oversight. If my view of this is correct or near correct, The number of NATO members or partner nations will be irrelevant because the horns are not nations but rather commanders (ten horns plus one).
An interesting development has been reported, that it has been suggested that NATO could step into the Palestinian and Israeli peace process and might provide a military buffer between Israel and the Palestinians. Since the Israelis do not trust the UN or any other international group, this might be of interest to them.
Now, I don’t think that the current Islamic middle eastern nations have any real interest in making peace with Israel, actually quite the opposite is true. So, there will need to be some major changes before the seven year peace pact (Daniels 70th week) can come to pass, that change will be the loss of the current dominance of Islam in the middle east.
Now I want to speak to the future of Iran, (Persia, Media, Elam). There is a prophecy in Jeremiah Chapter 49 that has never been fulfilled. There are prophecies in Jeremiah and Isaiah that are difficult to discern because they are a mixture of historic references and characters and yet seem to point well beyond those days, those historic times, into the latter days, the hindermost of time. I believe that God through the Holy Spirit has hidden tremendous truths in these prophecies for our days right now. I will endeavor to explain from Jeremiah some examples of this.
(49:35-39) Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I (God) will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. (36) And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. (37) For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
I don’t believe that this has happened yet. We know that the fourth king from Persia is yet to come, he is the Assyrian who is to be judged by God at the time of the end. This prophecy shows a progressive demise, first their bow and their might is broken and they will be dispersed to the nations, (the nations will exist for them to be sent to) and they are dismayed before their enemies, and then eventually they will be consumed. I think that the Islamic nation in Elam (Iran) will be broken in order to make room for the Assyrian to come to power. But as we will see, as we continue to read this is not the end.
(38) And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD. (39) But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.
Clearly this an end time event not historic. Which End time Persian king does the LORD destroy when he comes at the end of the age? This is reference to the 4th Persian king (Asshur) and his princes. The dismaying of Iran, and the breaking of Iran’s military might is near to happen. This prophecy is also connected to the city of Damascus, this seen in verse 24-27
(24) Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. (25) How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! (26) Therefore her young men shall fall in the her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. (27) And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus,..
Damascus as a city is no more! (not left) You say that that must be an exaggeration, I wish it were. Let’s look at another account of the event.
Isaiah Chapter 17:1
The burden of Damascus, Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
This has not yet happened, but it will! and will happen soon. even if the world claims peace and safety, sudden destruction will come.
Israel is also mentioned in this prophecy of Isaiah,
(4) And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob (Israel) shall be thin, and fatness of his flesh shall be lean.
Israel will also be affected by the events of the day, the day of Jacob’s trouble. We covered this in previous sessions.
This the time of God’s fierce anger, it is the day of God’s wrath.
I am displaying a slide of this prophecy study, the slide represents the major components of my three books and is taken from revelation chapter 17 The Woman Babylon, the great whore (America) sitting atop the beast (the beast is the Assyrian/ Antichrist) the beast has ten horns (NATO) ten commanders. All of this built on, and coming at the end of the 7 heads (the World system). This world system will fall as Daniel indicated, the stone cut out without hands falls upon it. This will be the day that the Lord’s prayer is finally answered.
THY KINGDOM COME THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Dear friend, you need not be a part of the judgment or wrath of God. NO ONE DOES. The wrath is only poured out upon those who choose to ignore God’s free gift of deliverance, who choose to say no to God. In America there are so many distractions to keep people preoccupied with this life, and not the life to come, or to consider that the world as we know it will end soon. The fact that you are watching this video probably testifies to the fact that you are not comfortable with what you see around you, your conscience is disturbed by what you see all around you what you see in this society. Yes, There is something wrong with it. Things are not right, things are not getting better, America is not what it used to be. God would have healed her but she would not. BUT you can be healed, you can be free, you can choose life. Call upon the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, repent of your sins and lay them at the down before yeshua, Jesus Christ the Lamb of God the perfect sacrifice for sin.
I want to read to from Revelation Chapters 4 & 7, this is what is in store for the believer, the person who chooses God and his values.
4: 1 After this looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. (4) And around the throne were four and twenty seats; and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. (5) And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. (6) And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. (7) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like calf, and the third beast had the face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. (8) And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (9) And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (10) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, (11) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
(7:9-12) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. (11) And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, (12) Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever, Amen.
what an incredible contrast between the future of this world system and the eternal life of the believer, please choose wisely.
